Chandra Estes Chandra has been volunteering with for nearly 3 years. She shows up here like clockwork, every Wednesday afternoon, to provide animal care. No task is too unpleasant—she tackles whatever needs doing with typical good humor. She helped develop and co-taught the animal care orientation for new volunteers one evening per month. In addition, she is always willing to take newbies under her wing during their initial visits to familiarize them with animal care procedures. And word has it that she can trim canine toenails like nobody’s business! Thanks, Chandra, for all the time and effort you’ve given the HSNWMT! |

Brenda Ritter makes us look great She’s the graphic and design talent behind the 2007 Paws and Claws calendar, as well as our quarterly newsletters. She began volunteering with us in March 2005 and has been available whenever we needed her since then. Her gifted graphic touch turns our simple manuscripts into attractive, professional documents. Her beautiful calligraphy even graced some special envelopes we once asked her to address. Brenda has more than 30 years of experience in newspapers, doing photography, writing, and graphic design. She is currently employed at the Daily Inter Lake in the graphics department. She shares her home with quite the menagerie: a Pomeranian named Moose, kitty named Squeak, two cockatiels, Arlo and Simon, and a dove, Lily. Thanks, Brenda, for contributing your time and talents to our adoption center!

As a volunteer here for the past two years, Judy's devotion has greatly assisted the volunteer program with administrative projects. Because she has such a heart of gold, Judy's newest furry companion is her beloved cat Cricket, formerly known as Monster, a Humane Society rescue. On behalf of all of us at the Humane Society, "Thank you Judy!" |
